ESTATE PLANNING
Everyone needs an estate plan. A proper estate plan protects your assets and personal property (your "estate") and explains how you want to pass them down. It documents your wishes and specifies exactly who will guard those wishes and act on them in your absence. Your estate plan should also include a set of documents that list your plans for care if you ever become incapacitated.
I can counsel you and your family on the many options that will make sure that everything and everyone you love is taken care of when something happens to you.
MEDICAID & LONGTERM CARE PLANNING
If you or a loved one are concerned about the cost of long-term care and how you will pay for it, that's when it's a good idea to contact and elder law attorney. I will be able to explain the various methods of paying for long-term care, including the government benefit programs that are available as well as how to qualify for them.
